Time Schedule

11:00 AM - Staging area on Bayshore Blvd. opens. Float must be in staging by 1:30 P<

3:00 PM - Brigadoon Members MUST be in our staging area ready to go by 3:00 PM

3:30 PM - Parade moves! We do not and will not know when er will move exactly.

7:00 PM - Fireworks Show at /over the Bayshore/Howard intersection.

 

Additional Important Information

This is an alcohol-free event. No alcohol can be brought to the parade or anywhere near the parade.

Members can bring two related children. Spouses are welcome, two children per adult maximum. Your "Significant Other" and their related kids are welcome.

We need 5/6 Safety/Security volunteers that day to walk all 4 cornersw of the float. (friends make great security guards and are allowed as Security/Guests taht day) Security must wear our Security Shirt plus bright colored vest provided by us and they can NOT throw beads.

Food/Drinks: Some light food/munchies and basic sodas/water will be provided for all attendees. Please eat before coming to the float. If you arrive late there may not be anything left.

What do I wear?: Krewe members wear your full Brigadoon Kilted Costume with Sash.

Kids: Dress like pirates! Kids wear anything pirate related. Eye patch, bandana, short pants, black shoes, anything "pirate like"! Just do your best!

Where is the float?: Our float will be lined up right on Bayshore heading North just South of Bayview Ave. at #52. Bayview Ave is one block North of Tambay Ave. and close to Euclid Ave.

Entrance: There will be fences everywhere so the walking entry may be restricted. Enter from a side street at or around Bayview/Tambay Ave. and walk to our float. Do NOT jump ANY fence. Do not argue with the cops.  They will not let you go through/over an y fence. They may let you walk through assigned gates.

Parade Route: The parade flows North about 2.5 miles along Bayshore Ave. from our staging point all the way up to Watrous/Orleans Ave. (Before Downtown)  We will be asked to leave the float immediately at that point and walk away.
