Welcome to the Potential Membership Application Process! We are excited about the new year and looking forward to you joining on the fun and being part of our family! The New Member meeting will be 5:30pm on Saturday, October 18 at Gasparilla Distillery & Cocktail Bar in Tampa. More details and times will be provided. This meeting is mandatory to attend. The following steps in the application process must be completed, or your application is considered incomplete:
After the application process and once approved, New Probationary Members will have requirements to achieve. All members must attend four (4) monthly Krewe meetings and fulfill four (4) Krewe-approved charity credits within krewe calendar (June 1st– May 31st), New members (October 1st - May 31st). Plus (1) Float work day or Float Cleanup. All potential new members (probationary) must select 1 of the following volunteering involvement options:
All new members must purchase the approved Brigadoon kilted parade costume to participate in any of the parades. More details will be provided at the Welcome Picnic and New Probationary Membership Meeting in October. Annual dues are $275.00 for “General Active Membership” status and Probationary Members. New Probationary Members have a non-refundable application fee of $200.00. Total cost for year one is $475.00. Brigadoon emphasizes volunteerism and participation in our Krewe and local community. We require a lot from our members in order to operate this totally volunteer organization. |
